The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) commenting on any extension in the closing time of the polling process clarified that no proposal to extend voting time is under consideration.
“Voting time will be closed till 5 pm,” the ECP said. “The unofficial results will be released by 6 pm,” the officials said.
The ECP spokesperson said that people who are already inside the polling station can cast their votes even after the allotted time.
