Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Saturday that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will address the public gathering in Sialkot on January 28 (Sunday).
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Marriyum said that Nawaz Sharif will be accompanied by PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz in the public gathering, which will be hosted by PML-N senior leader Khawaja Asif.

Few days back, PML-N senior leader Khawaja Asif said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will emerge victorious in the upcoming elections, slated to happen on February 8.
Addressing the workers’ convention from PP-46 in Sialkot, Asif said, ‘’The election campaign has reached its peak. The popularity of Nawaz Sharif continues to increase widely.
He recalled the events that transpired on May 9, saying, ‘’The country was attacked on May 9.’’
