Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, on Thursday announced the schedule for winter vacations in schools in Punjab.
The winter break is set to commence from December 18, 2023, and will conclude on January 1, 2024, providing students with an extended period of time off due to the improved environmental conditions.
Mohsin Naqvi's statement, shared on social media platform, highlighted the success of recent efforts to mitigate environmental pollution, attributing the substantial reduction in pollution levels to collaborative measures taken by government officials and environmental experts.
Following the positive assessment of the air quality index, the interim CM assured that no commercial restrictions would be imposed this week across any district in Punjab, including Lahore.
