The government has raised the price of petrol by Rs26.77 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs393.35 per litre.
The revised prices of petroleum products will come into effect from 25 April (Saturday). According to details issued on Friday, the price of high-speed diesel has also been raised by Rs26.77 per litre.
The new price of high-speed diesel has been set at Rs380.19 per litre.
The Ministry of Petroleum has issued a notification regarding the revision in fuel prices.
The notification states that the new prices for the coming week will apply from midnight tonight.
