Fans who eagerly attended the concert of music maestro AR Rahman in Chennai were left deeply disappointed due to the event's poor management.
Many concertgoers took to social media to vent their frustration, with numerous complaints ranging from Rahman's audio being barely audible for those situated far from the stage to severe overcrowding causing panic attacks and anxiety among attendees.
Some ticket holders even reported being turned away from the venue, leading to scenes of frustration and ticket tearing. Film trade analysts and fans shared videos of the disarray on social media, highlighting their discontent with the organization of the event.
AR Rahman responded to the fans' outrage on Twitter, offering a solution to those who couldn't enter the concert: "Dearest Chennai Makkale, those of you who purchased tickets and weren’t able to enter owing to unfortunate circumstances, please do share a copy of your ticket purchase to arr4chennai@btos.in along with your grievances. Our team will respond ASAP."
The concert, which had generated significant excitement among Rahman's fans, ended up causing frustration and disappointment due to the mismanagement, leaving many attendees vowing to never attend another AR Rahman concert in the future.
