The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has emphasised the need to promote safe and responsible use of social media.
According to details surfaced on Thursday, the PTA organised a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on the safe and responsible use of social media. The programme aimed to create digital awareness and equip participants with practical skills to address online risks.

Representatives from Islamabad, Quetta, Sukkur, Lahore, Karachi, Swabi, Mardan and Peshawar took part in the training. Experts from the PTA and partner organisations conducted interactive sessions on responsible digital citizenship and the proper use of social media.
The PTA has resolved to foster a secure and responsible digital environment across the country.
