The Pakistan Customs have foiled an attempt to smuggle silver worth millions of rupees is foiled.
20 kilograms of silver are recovered from two passengers arriving from abroad. The passengers arrived on flight PF-785 from Dubai to Islamabad. During a search, 14 kilograms of silver were recovered from one passenger. Six kilograms of silver, one laptop and a mobile phone were recovered from the other passenger.
The Pakistan Customs have taken both passengers into custody and registered a case. The seized silver is valued at Rs21.8 million.
