In the NA-18 by-election, unofficial results placed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Babar Nawaz Khan ahead.

According to details, in Haripur, out of a total of 602 polling stations, results from 470 polling stations have been received by the returning officer.

Babar Nawaz Khan of the PML-N has secured 131,670 votes, while independent candidate Shehrnaz Omar Ayub is in second place with 93,915 votes. 

It is pertinent to note that nine candidates were contesting the NA-18 by-election.
