An exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists occurred in the general vicinity of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District, on Saturday, during which a soldier of the Pakistani Army bravely engaged in combat with the terrorists.
The Army personnel successfully attacked the position of the terrorists, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Lance Naik Jamshed Khan, a 28-year-old resident of District Upper Dir, was identified as the martyred soldier. He battled valiantly and embraced Shahadat amid a frenzied exchange of fire.
To get rid of any terrorists discovered there, the area was being sanitized.
The ISPR stated that the security forces are determined to remove the threat of terrorism and such sacrifices of our gallant warriors further enhance our determination.
