The former couple continues to co-parent their daughter, Khai, ensuring that she grows up in a loving and stable environment.
Planning custody schedules
In a recent interview with Vogue, Gigi opened up about how she and Zayn coordinate their schedules for Khai’s well-being. “Zayn and I do our custody schedules months in advance,” she shared. “That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other’s backs.”
Despite their personal lives moving in different directions—Zayn focusing on his music career and Gigi reportedly dating Bradley Cooper—their shared priority remains their daughter.
Keeping their personal lives private
When asked about her relationship with Zayn post-breakup, Gigi didn’t reveal much, stating, “There is the hard part of the world knowing this much and thinking they know everything, but at the end of the day, we’re not interested in giving everyone our whole story.” She emphasized that their focus is solely on raising Khai in a respectful and loving environment.
“What we are interested in is raising our daughter together, with so much respect for each other, and not just as co-parents, but for what we’ve been through together,” she added.
Khai’s 4th birthday celebration
Last September, Khai celebrated her fourth birthday, and both Gigi and Zayn shared heartfelt messages for their little girl. Zayn called her “the most important person in my life” and expressed his deep love and gratitude. “Four years ago today, my life changed forever, and I wouldn’t be the man I am today without you,” he wrote.
Gigi, on the other hand, shared adorable details about Khai’s interests, including her love for music, Baby Yoda, animals, and nature. “She is curious, adventurous, loving, and oh-so witty,” she gushed. “It is my life’s greatest joy and pride to be your mama! Thank you for the four best years of my life.”
