Lahore has once again became the second-most polluted city in the world on Thursday as the smog threat continues to loom in the capital of Punjab province.
In terms of the Air Quality Index (AQI), Doha became the first most polluted city in the world with 188 AQI, followed by Lahore with 158 AQI.
According to experts, an increase in AQI over 100 is harmful for people’s health.
Smog usually occurs in the middle of October. Its occurrence in the month of September sounded the alarm bell.
