SSP East addressed the media regarding a tragic incident involving a 17-year-old youth. The young individual experienced a hand grenade explosion, resulting in a fatal outcome, as shared by SSP East.

The victim, identified as Farooq, hailed from the same area where the incident occurred, with his residence just a few steps away, according to SSP. It has been revealed that Farooq had a case registered against him in the Gulshan Iqbal police station.

As authorities delve into the investigation, questions arise about the purpose of the hand grenade and its intended target. In connection with the incident, the police have detained Farooq's brother, who is currently under scrutiny as part of the ongoing investigation, SSP informed.

Meanwhile, in Mastung, an unsettling hand grenade attack targeted the Mohammad Shahi High School polling station. Unknown assailants threw grenades at the polling station and swiftly fled the scene, leaving no casualties reported. Police are diligently working to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure the safety of the public.
