In a strong reaction to the May 9 events, the public has called for holding the responsible individuals accountable and imposing severe penalties on them.
On May 9, citizens demanded harsh punishment for those spreading violence, stating that "PTI supporters committed a grave injustice against their own country on May 9."
"They have inflicted significant harm on their own nation. The arrest of a leader does not justify launching an assault on the country. It was a conspiracy to pit the people and the army against each other. These malefactors should be strongly condemned and strictly dealt with," the public expressed.
"Those who spread violence on May 9 are worse than enemies; they didn't spare even hospitals. We strongly condemn this incident. PTI supporters have revealed their true face to the public on May 9. A complete boycott of those responsible for the May 9 incident is necessary," they added.
