Google has released an early promotional video for the Pixel 11 Pro, teasing its upcoming flagship smartphone less than 24 hours before the company's official unveiling event.
The short-form advertisement features two Pixel 11 Pro phones moving together to form the number 11, accompanied by a voice-over saying, “On a scale from one to ten, meet... well, you get it.”
The promotional clip then displays the words “Google Pixel 11 Pro with Gemini Intelligence” before revealing the date August 12, 2026.
Pixel 11 series set for August 12 unveiling
Google is scheduled to unveil the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL on Wednesday, August 12, at 6pm EDT.
The event will be hosted by comedian Trevor Noah, who previously hosted the 2026 Grammy Awards.
Google has also invited several celebrities and athletes to the event, including Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, Shubman Gill, Alex Cooper, Peggy Gou, JuJu Watkins and former footballer Steven Gerrard.
Faster charging among expected features
Ahead of the launch, reports and leaks have suggested several potential upgrades for the Pixel 11 lineup.
One reported feature is significantly faster wired charging, with a marketing leak claiming the phones could reach 55% battery capacity in about five minutes.
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are also expected to use Google's next-generation Tensor G6 processor, reportedly manufactured by TSMC using a 2nm process and Gate-All-Around transistor technology.
The new chip could bring improvements in performance and battery efficiency, despite reports suggesting slightly smaller battery capacities for the Pro models.
Pre-orders to open before launch event
Google is expected to open pre-orders for the Pixel 11 lineup several hours before the unveiling.
Pre-orders are scheduled to begin at 10am EDT on August 12, ahead of the main event.
Alongside the Pixel 11 series, Google is expected to introduce the Pixel Watch 5 and a new Pixel Tag item tracker.
The company is also expected to provide more details about the Pixel 11 Pro's design, cameras, performance and Gemini-powered features during the event.
