Pakistan and Türkiye have agreed to strengthen cooperation on the women's rights and the protection of the family system in the digital space.
The agreement was reached during a meeting between Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar and Türkiye's Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş in Islamabad on the sidelines of the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women.
Ministers discuss women's rights
The two ministers discussed women's rights, the family system and social protection. They also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in family affairs, social services and social protection.
Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to expanding social protection, exchanging experience and promoting joint projects.
They also agreed to further strengthen cooperation on women's rights, social welfare and institutional partnership.
