The Indian government has formally acknowledged fatalities linked to the so-called 'Operation Sindoor'.
The names of five personnel of the Indian Army and one member of the Indian Air Force have been published on the National War Memorial website. The details have been listed in the Roll of Honour section, where the names of the deceased personnel have been made public.
The list includes Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, Rifleman Sunil Kumar, and Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar. It also includes Aviation Technician Mood Muralinaik, Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh, and Sergeant Surendra Kumar.
It is pertinent to note that prior to this publication, no official identification of the personnel had been disclosed.
