Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif underlined on Wednesday the significance of powering the country to political stability in a bid to strengthen the country’s economy.
Former senator Waqar Ahmed and PML-N stalwart Amir Muqam called on the former prime minister. On the occasion, both leaders commended Shehbaz Sharif for his acquittal in Ashiana Housing.
During the meeting, matters in line with the country’s political situation were underscored.

Expressing his thoughts, Shehbaz Sharif said: “It is the topmost priority and the national agenda to steer the country out of the economic quagmire.
Earlier, Waqar Ahmed decided to join the PML-N. He rallied behind Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif, saying, “Only the Sharif brothers have the ability to uplift the country.
Meanwhile, he commended the efforts of Shehbaz Sharif to avert the risk of the country’s default during his 16-month tenure as the prime minister.

Separately, former lawmakers also held a meeting with Shehbaz Sharif.
Makhdoom Syed Mobeen Alam, Makhdoom Syed Masood Alam, Syed Mubeen Zamin, and Syed Basit Sultan Bukhari announced their plans to join the PML-N.
The leaders had expressed their confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed their resolve to lead the country towards economic prosperity. The PML-N is the country’s biggest party and represents the masses.
Welcoming the leaders to the PML-N, Shehbaz Sharif said, “With your inclusion in the party, we will get great support to address the masses’ problems.”
The former lawmakers expressed their gratitude to PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif for welcoming them into the party. They also extended their best wishes to the PML-N bigwigs.
On this occasion, Rana Sanullah, Sardar Awais Leghari, Sheikh Fayyazuddin, and Mian Imtiaz were also present.
