The Punjab Safe City Authority has decided to expand modern thermal drone surveillance across the province during Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to details surfaced on Friday, close monitoring of hot spots and crime pockets will continue during the auspicious occasion.
The Safe City officials said that the security situation will be continuously monitored through drone surveillance across the province, including Lahore. "Mosques, markets and bus terminals will also be monitored with the help of drones. Officials say strict legal action will be taken upon identification of any illegal activity during Eid."
