Educational institutions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
According to details surfaced on Tuesday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department has issued a notification in this regard.
The decision has been taken in the light of proposals put forward by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet.
On the remaining days, institutions will adopt online or hybrid classes wherever possible, according to the notification.
The decision has been taken owing to the fuel crisis and rising prices, the notification states.
