Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan was allowed to meet his wife Bushra Bibi at the Adiala jail’s conference room.
Sources divulged on Tuesday, the meeting was arranged before Bushra Bibi’s family visit. During the meeting, PTI founder Imran Khan informed her about his health and treatment relating to his eye. The meeting continued for approximately 40 minutes.
Later, the members of Bushra Bibi’s family were granted permission to meet her. Her sister-in-law Mehrunnisa Ahmed and daughter Mehrunnisa Sheikh reached Adiala jail and held a meeting in the conference room for nearly 40 minutes. After the meeting, the family departed from the jail.
Meanwhile, as the scheduled time for meetings with PTI founder Imran Khan had ended, no party leader, including family members, was granted permission to meet him.
PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan and Salman Akram Raja returned from the Marble Factory checkpoint, while Aleema Khan, along with her sisters, was unable to proceed beyond Chakri Interchange.
Sources said police executed an arrest warrant against Aleema Khan at Chakri Interchange.
