Pakistan has secured another honour after being elected president of the Digital Cooperation Organisation.
Federal Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja said Pakistan’s election as president of the DCO was a matter of pride for the country. She has termed that the Digital Cooperation Organization as a unique international body. Shaza Fatima said Pakistan would now have an opportunity to present its perspective on digital technology at the global level.
She said Pakistan remained committed to expanding cooperation in the fields of information technology and skills development. The federal minister said Saudi Arabia, Pakistan’s long-standing friend, currently leads the Digital Cooperation Organization.
She added that high-level engagement between the leadership of both countries carried significant importance.
