A 16-point agenda for the upcoming session of the National Assembly, scheduled for tomorrow, has been released, featuring several important bills and attention notices, including amendments related to Pakistan Railways.
The National Assembly will meet at 5:00pm under the chairmanship of Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. Among the key items on the agenda is an attention notice regarding unauthorized furniture exhibitions in Islamabad.
The House will also take up the Islamabad Private Educational Institutions Registration and Regulation Amendment Bill and the Pakistan Name of Ambulance Amendment Bill. Additionally, the agenda includes discussion on the Cannabis Prevention and Regulatory Authority Amendment Bill.
A resolution seeking a further 20-day extension in the Nursing and Midwifery Council Ordinance will be presented before the Assembly. Reports by Pullain Baloch, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting, will also be tabled.
Minister for Railways is set to present the Transfer of Railways (Amendment) Bill 2025. Another attention notice concerning difficulties faced by Pakistanis traveling abroad will also be raised during the session.
