Zimbabwe assistant coach Dion Ebrahim said on Saturday that the national cricket team excited to play the tri-nation series in Pakistan.
Speaking to media in Islamabad, Ebrahim said: "Many of the young Zimbabwe players are ready for the challenge. Some of the Zimbabwean players have played in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Their experience in the PSL will be helpful for us in the tri-nation series."
He said: "We want to clinch a tri-nation series. The tri-nation series will be important to ensure our preparation for the T20 World Cup 2026."
It is pertinent to note that Zimbabwe will take on Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the forthcoming series slated to happen from November 18.
Meanwhile, the Zimbabwean cricketers have also participated in the training session.
Zimbabwe will lock horns against host Pakistan in the opening match of the tri-nation series on November 18 (Tuesday).
