Two individuals abandoned the body of a foreign woman at a private hospital in Nishtar Colony, Lahore, and fled the scene, according to police.
Police officials confirmed that the suspects, an unidentified man and woman, were also foreign nationals, believed to be of African origin.
The duo arrived at the hospital in a car and left the woman’s body on a wheelchair before quickly escaping.
Police have launched an investigation using CCTV footage and other available evidence to trace the suspects.
Initial reports suggest that the woman may have died due to excessive drug use, but further confirmation is awaited.
The body has been taken into police custody and sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
