Security sources reported that a large number of victims of terrorism linked to the Khawarij sedition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are rejecting extremism.
The family and tribe of the terrorists killed in Dera Ismail Khan have also disassociated themselves from it.
According to details, on April 15, 2025, four foreigners were killed in an operation by security forces in the Kalachi area of Dera Ismail Khan. Among the terrorists killed was Khazri Huzaifa, alias Usman, a foreigner belonging to the Ranazai tribe.
The mother of Huzaifa said in a video message, “Huzaifa, also known as Usman, was my son. He was killed by the army. My son was disobedient to both me and his father. We tried many times to explain things to him. His father scolded him repeatedly, but our words had no effect.”
Defence experts said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have risen up against the Fitna al-Khawarij, as evidenced by several recent events.
The Fitna al-Khawarij is exploiting young Pakistani tribal youth for terrorist activities.
The statement made by the mother of the slain terrorist Huzaifa is a major blow to the Fitna al-Khawarij.
Expressions of indifference and similar statements by the parents of other terrorists involved with the Fitna al-Khawarij are clear evidence of the public’s growing rejection of terrorism.
The experts stated, “The terrorists of the Fitna al-Khawarij, disguised in the name of religion, are the open enemies of the Pakistani people."
"The people must recognise the ugly face of this movement and protect their children from falling victim to its propaganda. This proves that terrorism has no place in Pakistan,” the experts maintained.
