The US dollar gained further value in the currency market, surpassing the 280 mark in the interbank market on Wednesday.
According to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP), the dollar rose by eight paisas in the interbank market, closing at Rs280.05.
Meanwhile, in the open market, the dollar increased by three paisas, reaching Rs281.62.
