A case into the killing of six labourers in Turbat district of Balochistan was registered at the Makran Counter-Terrorism Department police station on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the labourers reached their hometown of Multan on Sunday morning after they were dispatched through a special flight from Balochistan.
According to the CTD officials, the case was registered on the application of a labourer, Niaz, against unidentified motorcyclists who the applicant said opened fire on the under-construction house of a contractor, Naseer, where eight labourers resided.
Various provisions of murder, attempted murder and terrorism have been included in the case.
From the firing of unidentified men, Sikander, Shafiq, Rizwan, Shahbaz and Waseem from Multan; and Naeem from Narowal were killed, while Tauheed from Narowal and Ghulam Mustafa from Multan were injured.

The bodies were seen off at the Khalid airbase by caretaker Balochistan Chief Minister Ali Mardan Domki. At the airbase, the chief minister prayed for the killed labourers and offered condolences to their bereaved families.
“Everyone in Balochistan is saddened by the killing of the innocent workers,” Mr Domki said.
He also vowed to soon pay compensation to the families of the deceased labourers and the injured workers.
On reaching Multan, the bodies were being shifted to Shujabad in ambulances. The injured labourers were already flown to Multan's Nishtar Hospital on Saturday night through a special flight.
On Saturday morning, a group of armed men had broken into a house in Turbat's Satellite Town area and shot the labourers dead, according to Turbat District Police Officer (DPO) Imam Bux.
The victims were staying at a local contractor's house while working on a construction project when they were attacked, the officer added.
