Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 20% discount for Pakistani students traveling to China to pursue their academic degrees.
This offer is a big relief for students who face financial constraints while planning their travel.
According to PIA officials, the discount is applicable to students who are traveling to China for higher education. The national flag carrier has also increased the baggage allowance up to 60 kilograms, making it easier for students to carry their belongings.
Currently, PIA operates one weekly flight on the Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route every Sunday. This discount offer is a great opportunity for students who want to return to Pakistan for summer holidays or plan to travel back home after completing their studies.
Earlier, PIA had increased the discount rate on its fares to 27% for students traveling to China. The airline had also slashed fares of economy and executive economy classes on domestic flights by 20% on Eid ul Fitr.
