When football legend Cristiano Ronaldo arrived in Tehran with his team Al-Nassr to play against Persepolis, lots of fans were waiting for him. Among them, there was a young boy named Adrian who desperately wanted to meet his idol and started crying because he couldn't.
Fans swarmed Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo upon his arrival in Iran on Monday ahead of a match between his club, Al-Nassr, and Persepolis FC in the AFC Champions League.
The match between Persepolis and Al-Nassr was played behind closed doors at the 100,000-seater Azadi Stadium due to a ban by the AFC over licensing regulations.
Despite the lack of fans in attendance, it was a memorable night for Adrian, who eventually got to meet his football hero after his video of crying hysterically went viral on social media.
The officials from Al-Nassr noticed Adrian and decided to make him happy. They took him to Ronaldo's room where the football legend had a nice chat with Adrian.
The athlete gave his young fan a shirt with his name on it, and even took a picture with him.
Earlier on September 19, Cristiano Ronaldo also met a differently-abled Iranian artist.
