A Karachi court on Monday handed down life imprisonment sentences to two young men convicted in a gang-rape case.
The Additional Sessions Court West judge stated that the gang rape of a 17-year-old girl had been proven.
The convicted individuals, Muhammad Shakir, 21 and Hafeez, 23, were found guilty of committing the crime on September 11, 2022.
According to the prosecution, the suspects took the victim to Shakir's house, where they raped her in turns.
The victim had reported the incident to the Mochko police station, leading to legal action and the subsequent sentencing by the court.
