The police have claimed a major development in the murder case of young Karachi businessperson Mir Raza, saying a bullet shell has been recovered near the place where his body was found.
The investigation team carried out a search operation at the crime scene and recovered the bullet shell from the area close to the body recovery site, police said.
According to police, the 30-bore shell may belong to the bullet fired at Mir Raza. The recovered shell will be sent for forensic examination, police added.

It is pertinent to note that a Karachi court has approved the exhumation of young businessman Mir Raza’s grave, paving the way for a fresh postmortem as questions continue to surround the circumstances of his death.
The court directed authorities to implement its order without delay and asked the Health Secretary to constitute a medical board for the process.
