More than 31,000 coordinated skydives were carried out across 43 countries on the same day, setting a new world record for the highest number of recorded skydives in a single day.
The global event, held on Saturday as part of World Skydiving Day, was jointly organised by the United States Parachute Association, Australian Parachute Federation, British Skydiving and Canadian Sport Parachuting Association.
The event saw 31,075 skydives completed in one day, breaking the previous record of 30,351 skydives set in 2024.
Organisers said skydivers of all skill levels took part in the event, including people completing tandem jumps for the first time.
Albert Berchtold, executive director of the USPA, said records are made to be broken and expressed happiness that thousands of people from around the world reached drop zones to celebrate the sport.
He added that the new record reflected the continued growth of skydiving, welcomed new participants and encouraged experienced skydivers who showed exceptional commitment and dedication to the sport.
