The Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) Punjab Assembly proudly hosted the young diplomats of the Chinese Consulate in Lahore to commemorate 75 years of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations, reaffirming a shared commitment to carrying this historic friendship into the future through the next generation of leaders.
The ceremony was chaired by Honourable Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, while Sun Yan, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Lahore, attended as the Guest of Honour.
Led by Amina Hassan Sheikh, President, Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF), the initiative reflected YPF’s vision of strengthening parliamentary diplomacy by fostering meaningful engagement between young parliamentarians and young diplomats. As Pakistan and China celebrate 75 years of enduring friendship, it is the responsibility of the younger generation to preserve, strengthen and carry this timeless partnership forward for decades to come.
