American rapper Pitbull set a unique Guinness World Record during his sold-out concert in London.
According to British media, 22,141 fans wore bald caps at the BST Hyde Park concert to pay tribute to Pitbull. The gathering set a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of people wearing bald caps at one venue.
Will Munford confirms record
Guinness World Records judge Will Munford officially confirmed the record.
For the past few years, Pitbull's fans have attended his concerts wearing bald caps, dark sunglasses and suits to copy his signature style. Many of them also refer to themselves as "Bald Es".
Pitbull had earlier expressed his wish for this fan tradition to become a Guinness World Record. That wish has now become a reality.
Concernt marks highest-attended show in BST Hyde Park Festival's history
Around 70,000 people attended the concert, making it the highest-attended show in the history of the BST Hyde Park Festival.
Fans around the world also watched the memorable event through a three-hour live stream on Pitbull's official YouTube channel.
Pitbull performed many of his popular songs during the concert. Singers Lil Jon and Kesha also made special appearances.
Pitbull also paid tribute to his British fans by performing a famous song by Oasis. The concert ended with a spectacular fireworks display.
It is pertinent to note that 'We Are One (Ole Ola)' is still popular among the fans.
