Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government is a burden not only on the entire region but also on Israel itself, and a threat to international security.
In an interview, Fidan said that even US President Donald Trump understands this. He said that after the wars against Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran, Netanyahu now needs another enemy to present himself as a victim and gain the sympathy of others.

Fidan said Netanyahu and his government are now trying to make Türkiye their next enemy. He added that as elections draw nearer in Israel, Netanyahu and his allies need a new enemy.
