Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Neil Hawkins on Tuesday called on Istehkam-e-Pakistan (IPP) Patron Chief Jahangir Khan Tareen and President Abdul Aleem Khan.
During the huddle, the Australian envoy matters pertaining to mutual interest and strengthening bilateral relations between Australia and Pakistan took centre stage.
The discussions also delved into regional politics and key elements of IPP's manifesto.
The meeting, attended by other members of the Australian delegation, Mary Roberts and Mateen Amin.
Meanwhile, IPP leaders Awn Chaudhry, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Ishaq Khakwani, Murad Ras, Nauman Langriyal, Manza Hassan, and Sheikh Yaqub.
Renowed business tycoon joins IPP
In a parallel development in Lahore, renowned business tycoon and social figure Salman Malik announced to join IPP.
The move was met with a warm welcome from Co-Chairman Jahangir Tareen and other central leadership figures, including Aoun Chaudhry, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Murad Ras, and Numan Langriyal.
