China’s Foreign Office has strongly condemned an attack on a mosque in Islamabad.
In a statement, the Chinese Foreign Office spokesperson said the deadly explosion and heavy loss of life had caused deep shock. China is mourning the loss of precious lives and extends its sympathies to the injured and to the families who lost their loved ones.

The spokesperson added that China opposes terrorism in all its forms and supports Pakistan in ensuring national security and stability.
