Former chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak is currently undergoing treatment at PAF Hospital after being injured in a traffic accident near Nowshera.
According to family sources, the incident took place yesterday when Khattak was traveling on the motorway near Nowshera. He was driving his own car while returning from his mother’s village when the accident occurred.
Details surrounding the cause of the accident have not yet been disclosed.
Injuries to arms and fingers
Family sources said that the former chief minister sustained injuries to both arms and fingers in the crash. Following the accident, he was shifted to Islamabad for medical treatment.
Doctors applied plaster to his injured arms as part of the initial medical care.
After receiving emergency treatment and having plaster applied to his arms, Khattak was shifted to a hospital ward. His condition is reported to be stable.
Family members said he remains under medical observation as doctors continue treatment.
