The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FCIT) at Punjab University’s Old Campus has taken on the hosting and co-hosting responsibilities for the 2025 ICPC Asia Topi Regional Onsite Contest.
This final round of the ICPC Pakistan region is a key initiative aimed at promoting talent in computer science and programming across the country.
The competition will feature 25 top university teams, including participants from Lahore University of Management Sciences, Virtual University of Pakistan, Forman Christian College University, FAST National University Lahore, University of Education Lahore, and Punjab University.
According to the event schedule, the first day of the contest will be held on January 31, 2026, including participant arrivals, registration, distribution of goodies, lunch and prayer breaks, login distribution, a mock round, and a team photo session.
The final round is set for February 1, 2026, beginning with participants taking their seats in the laboratories at 9:00 a.m. The contest will officially start at 9:30am and conclude at 2:00pm. After the competition, participants will move to the auditorium for the closing ceremony, which will commence following the arrival of the chief guest. High tea and departures will follow.
The administration emphasized that this ICPC Pakistan regional final is a major effort to foster and showcase talent in the country’s computer science and programming sectors.
