Pakistan Army organized a debate competition among students to pay tribute to Allama Iqbal, showcasing their eloquence and intellect in expressing reverence for the esteemed scholar.
Fourteen universities from the Hyderabad region participated in this event, with a total of 16 teams vying for victory. Each university fielded 15 students, resulting in a collective participation of 210 students in the competition.
The competition, held in the city of Hyderabad, witnessed the announcement of results by a distinguished panel of education experts as jury.
Professor Dr. Shazra Hussain from the University of Sindh, Professor Dr. Atiq Ahmed Jalani from the Urdu department, and Professor Dr. Tanzim Al-Firdous from the University of Karachi were part of the esteemed panel.
While all teams demonstrated remarkable prowess, the University of Sindh clinched the top position, followed closely by PIMS University in the second spot.
The professors and students, while expressing their admiration, stated that providing such platforms contributes to the enhancement of skills and fosters a sense of patriotism and competence in the nation.
