Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi termed on Thursday the punishment of Faiz Hameed as an internal matter of the Pakistan Army.
Speaking to the media in Rawalpindi, CM Afridi said: "Faiz Hameed had been an employee of an institution and had been punished over a particular matter." He said that, if a political issue raised, a full response would be given.
CM Afridi said they bore no malice and did not act out of pride, adding that PTI founder Imran Khan’s sisters were not political and merely conveyed the founder’s statements outside.
The KP chief minister said he came to meet his leader but was not granted permission, adding that Pakistan belonged to all and was not anyone’s personal possession.
CM Afridi maintained that his passport was already on the stop list. He asked the political opponents to attend to their own governance, adding that he knew his province, and his people knew him.
