Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai said on Wednesday that the opposition will stage the protest against the government after an approval of the 27th Amendment Bill.
Addressing a news conference flanked by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Achakzai said: "We will create obstacles for the government by using the power of the people."
Meanwhile, reacting to the approval of the 27th amendment, Barrister Gohar said: "The PTI will restore the position of the chief justice. We will do our job if we get representation in the parliament."
Barrister Gohar has lamented the presidential immunity, saying, "The people will not going to respect people like him [the president]."
Recalling the 26th Amendment, Barrister Gohar said: "We have sacked five of the members for casting vote for an approval of the 26th Amendment."

Earlier on Wednesday, the National Assembly passed the 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill with a two-thirds majority, as 234 members voted in its favour after its clause-by-clause approval. Meanwhile, four members voted against the bill.
