Security forces eliminated six militants during a successful operation against the group operating under the name Fitna-al-Hindustan in the Dalbandin area of Balochistan.
According to security sources, the terrorists were hiding in a mountain cave. Forces targeted the location after aerial surveillance confirmed their presence. The hideout was struck with precision.
The operation forms part of ongoing efforts to restore law and order across Balochistan and eradicate terrorism from the region. The coordinated action was made possible through close cooperation between security forces and agencies.
Sources confirmed that such operations would continue until the complete elimination of terrorist elements in the province.
One militant killed, others flee during operation in Shahi Tangi forest
Separately, the security forces carried out a successful operation in the Shahi Tangi forest area of Bajaur, targeting hideouts used by militants. During the operation, one militant was killed while others, injured, managed to escape.
Acting on intelligence reports, forces launched a planned assault on the location where the militants had taken cover in a cave. A fierce exchange of fire ensued between the two sides. Following the clash, the area, including tunnels and surrounding spots, was thoroughly cleared.
Weapons, explosive materials and communication equipment used by the militants were recovered during the operation.
Security forces continue to conduct effective operations against militants in Bajaur. The institutions remain determined to eliminate terrorism from the country.
