Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb confirmed on Sunday that the budget 2025–26 will be presented on June 16 (Monday).
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), she lavished his praise on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, saying, "CM Maryam is not just leading the province—she is transforming it. We are not merely presenting a budget; we are presenting our mission, Insha’Allah."
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart said the Punjab Budget 2025–26 is being positioned as a bold and strategic step forward.
It is pertinent to note that the Punjab government had changed the presentation date for the 2025-26 fiscal year, moving it from June 13 to June 16.
On Wednesday, Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman said: "Preparations for the budget are underway and require additional time." He assured that the upcoming budget would be tax-free, with no new taxes imposed on the public.
