A 45-year-old man named Chetan, a father of nine children, who recently tied the knot with 43-year-old Rani Bheel on Monday pleaded the authorities for protection.
The couple, residing in the Jhol area of Nawabshah, expressed their concerns to the media at the Jam Sahib Press Club. They sought safety as Rani’s ex-husband allegedly poses a threat to her life.
Rani said that after her ex-husband kicked her out of their house, Chetan gave her a place to stay. Their relationship eventually got stronger, resulting in their marriage.
The loving, responsible couple has now resorted to the authorities, namely the IG Sindh, asking for protection from a possible life threat.
