A gunman opened fire shots on passenger vehicles near Sada Bazar in Karam district and killed four people including a woman on Sunday.
Three other people were also injured and shifted to hospital.
According to the police, the fielder and coach who were going to Peshawar from Parachinar were attacked by armed men near Sada Bazar and opened fire with automatic weapons as a result of which four people including a woman.
Kuram district DPO Muhammad Imran said that the search for the attackers has been started and efforts are being made to arrest the accused.
Bangash tribes have called an emergency jirga against the incidents of terrorism to make response over incidents of terrorism.
