The government has reduced the prices of petroleum products after the daily review of rates.
The price of petrol has been cut by Rs2.20 per litre, with the new price fixed at Rs327.62 per litre. The price of high -speed diesel has been reduced by Rs1.50 per litre, bringing its new rate to Rs380.86 per litre.
The government has increased the levy on diesel by Rs0.81. The diesel levy has been raised from Rs73.47 per litre to Rs74.28 per litre.
