Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said on Thursday that anyone who makes remarks against party founder Imran Khan's family will have no place in the party.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of an opposition meeting in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar said that no one is allowed to pass comments about Imran Khan’s sisters or family. He urged the party members to keep their language in check and show restraint.
Barrister Gohar said that even if workers stop him or hold his collar, he will remain silent, but no one will be allowed to speak against Imran Khan’s family.
He reiterated that any individual who makes such remarks will no longer remain part of the party.
Opposition huddle resolves to foil hostile designs against country
The opposition reiterated its resolve to foil hostile and malicious designs against the country, according to a joint statement issued after the meeting.
According to details surfaced on Thursday, an opposition meeting was held at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad, after which a statement was issued. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi made a special appearance at the meeting.
