The Airports Security Force (ASF) carried out a successful operation at Peshawar Airport, recovering ice heroin worth over Rs20 mn rupees from a passenger traveling to Doha.
During a routine search, ASF personnel discovered more than one kilogram of ice hidden inside the passenger’s luggage trolley. The drugs had been skillfully concealed in the layers of the trolley bag.
The suspect was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force for further investigation and legal proceedings.
The operation highlights ASF’s continued vigilance and effectiveness in preventing drug smuggling at airports.
