Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF).
According to details surfaced on Tuesday, on arrival, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative, Muhammad Bilal, and the Ambassador of Pakistan to Switzerland received the Prime Minister. Members of Pakistan’s diplomatic staff in Switzerland were also present.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema are accompanying the Prime Minister. Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb and Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar are also part of the delegation. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi is travelling with him as well.
During the visit, the prime minister will attend various sessions of the World Economic Forum. Meetings with several global leaders are also expected.
The Prime Minister will host and attend a business roundtable. He is due to outline reforms for economic stability and improved economic indicators, and will also speak on the Triple O programme in the context of Pakistan’s stability.
